Dr Bhatti's Gut Health & Microbiome Restoration Therapy for general well being and weight management

13/5/2019

Dr Bhatti runs a complementary clinic specialising in Gut Health & Restoration. He has been practicing Natural Gut Health Restoration for more than 25 years with excellent results. Poor gut health can affect you physically as well as mentally and can lead to many illnesses. Healing of the gut and stomach lining along with restoration of microbiome can lead to great improvement of general health, vitality and immunity.

Dr Bhatti identifies the most common causes of obesity: poor diet, lack of exercise, bad eating habits, stress and strains of lifestyle, working conditions, medical conditions, certain medications and sometimes just loving food too much.

He suggests three basic approaches to weight management with gut health and microbiome restoration, nutritional manipulation, nutritional supplementation, and Physiological Regulating Medicine(P.R.M) which is an evidence based natural therapy safe to use for adults as well as children with excellent results

At the Gut Health & Restoration Clinic we treat every person as a unique individual. No two people are alike or have the same problems or complaints, so we design a individualistic and unique nutritional and treatment plan to suit each and every person according to their particular needs.

The first advice Dr Bhatti offers new patients before embarking on a diet or an overall plan is a visit to their General Practitioner for any medical advice and to rule out any serious medical condition.

“Too much insulin in your blood, hypoglycaemia, anxiety, diabetes or glandular problems can all cause weight gain” he said. “Recent studies show that people suffering from candida, dysbiosis, leaky gut syndrome, stress, anxiety, depression, lack of good quality sleep, allergies, and some chronic conditions can also put on weight due to cravings. Weight gain can also be hereditary, as the discovery of the obesity gene has indicated” he added.

Dr. Bhatti's approach to treating gut health related problems is through a combination of evidence based therapies such as Nutritional Healing, Needle free Acupuncture, Hormonal balancing and other Complementary Therapies such as Lifestyle Medicine, and natural Low Dose Medicine with excellent results.

Can you prevent and fight cancer with the help of foods?

17/4/2019

According to the American Institute of Cancer Research, your plate should contain two thirds plant-based foods and one third animal protein as a cancer-fighting tool.

Here are some foods which contain some cancer-fighting nutrients:

  • Fruits and vegetables, the more colourful the better they are at preventing and fighting this disease.
  • Whole grains, breakfast cereals fortified with B vitamins.
  • Folate and carotenoid-rich foods such as beans, asparagus, eggs, spinach, sunflower seeds, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, Brussels sprouts, kale.
  • Tomatoes, the fresher the better, but even the processed tomato sauce and tomato juice may help fight cancer.
  • Green tea is a strong contender but further research is ongoing.
  • Purple and red grapes contain an antioxidant called Resveratrol with some inflammation-fighting properties. Some scientists believe that inflammation might be a trigger for cancer, however, this remains inconclusive.
  • Other fruits such as oranges, melons, blueberries and strawberries are a good source of vitamins and folate.
  • Water may protect you against bladder cancer as it may help dilute the concentration of cancer-causing substances in the bladder.
  • Turmeric is an exotic Indian spice with curcumin as a main ingredient with a potential to fight cancer, research is ongoing.
  • Other foods and spices with health-giving properties such as ginger, garlic, cinnamon, nuts, flaxseed, olive oil, fish, peas, beans, lentils, squash and whole foods.

In our clinic we use a multi pronged approach in treating many conditions with evidence based therapies such as Low Dose Medicine (L.D.M.), Physiological Regulating Medicine (P.R.M), Gut Health and Microbiome restoration, Nutritional and Nutraceutical therapies, Lifestyle Medicine, Natural Hormonal Balancing, Glandular support, Soft tissue and joint support, Complex Homeopathy, Herbals, and Needle free Medical Acupuncture, Laser Acupuncture, Therapeautic Mindfulness and CBT techniques to achieve excellent results.
